RIDER ANNOUNCEMENT
As a team we are really excited to announce our first rider for 2024. Local Manx rider, Grant Thomson, joins us next year as a newcomer & will compete for the team at the Southern 100 races next July. We are also looking longer term & hope to continue to support Grant in his road racing career by progressing him to the Manx GP in 2025 as our “Rising Star”
Grant has had an amazing year & has progressed quickly to obtain his National licence. Winning the Novice/Clubman Championship at Jurby, together with P3 in the Open Class & P2 in the 600 class, it’s been an exceptional first year & we absolutely recognise both the talent & commitment that Grant has.

“Hi all, my name is Grant Thomson and I’d like firstly to say thank you for this opportunity to work with and ride for The People’s Bike for the 2024 season.
My background is motocross, enduro and supermoto making the switch to road racing in 2023. One of my biggest achievements this year has been to go from novice licence to clubman licence to my national licence in the space of this year by doing as many local and UK races to collect my signatures.
For 2024 my focus is to continue the same approach as last year for races both on the Isle of Man & in the UK with the addition of the Southern 100 as a newcomer.
These opportunities don’t come along very often and I’m very grateful for it, I can’t thank The People’s Bike enough for giving me this chance.
