FESTIVAL OF MOTORCYCLING
Here at The People's Bike our aim has always been to help up and coming riders meet their
potential and fulfil their ambition to compete on the world famous TT mountain course.
As a new initiative for this year, we will be helping to fund a newcomer to the Manx GP. We aim to sell a
sponsorship package for £25 which will raise the funds to support the cost of tyres and fuel for the newcomer

Our newcomer for this year is Stephen Parsons.
Stephen started his racing career in 2012 on a completely standard Triumph 675 with the Derby Phoenix racing
club. Starting dead last in the championship, by the end of the season he was fighting for wins. By
2014 he had progressed to Thundersport GB in the pre-national class now winning races and setting lap records and
moved up to the Superstock 1000 class in 2015 taking 3rd place in the championship in his first year on a big
bike. In 2016 Stephen switched his focus to the roads competing at Scarborough for the first time.
"Road racing had always been a dream for me and I loved every minute of the circuit at Scarborough and the feeling
of speed road racing gives you".
Stephen now mixes in the top 10 finishers at Scarborough and also now competes on his Kawasaki ZX6R aswell as his
For the Manx GP Stephen will run in the newcomers race and the Junior Manx on his ZX6R.
